Glenn Vallach
Vice President for Public Relations & Communications
During his 30-year professional career, Glenn Vallach has developed broad-based experience in the disciplines of public relations, marketing, and fund raising.
Much of Mr. Vallach's success is due to and underscored by the diversity of his background. As a senior corporate and agency public relations executive and counselor for two decades, he has created and implemented communications plans to support and undergird marketing, direct marketing, and fund raising programs. Principal among his strengths was the use of those plans to successfully enhance the image and awareness of his clients, and their products and services.
In his role as Vice President for Public Relations and Communications, Mr. Vallach manages GSI Public Relations, a full service division of Ghiorsi & Sorrenti, Inc., which provides communications services for both non-profit and for-profit organizations. In addition, GSIPR handles public relations and marketing support for the firm’s fund raising clients.
Prior to GSI, Mr. Vallach served for more than five years, as Vice President of Douris Associates, a public relations agency with roots in healthcare and New York politics. During his tenure, he created and executed strategic public relations and communications plans for for-profit and non-profit organizations such as Presbyterian Hospital at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and Brooklyn Caledonian Hospital, and provided fund raising and public relations support for various organizations and political candidates, including the Michael Dukakis’ and Paul Tsongas’ presidential campaigns.
Prior to Douris Associates, Mr. Vallach was Vice President of Lack and Associates, where he developed and directed a national strategic marketing plan for Baileys Original Irish Cream introducing the product to a younger audience, helped revive AMF Bowling Products, and introduced Molson Golden to the sports market by establishing and publicizing their sponsorship of the United States Football League.
Mr. Vallach also served as Director of Public Relations at Six Flags Great Adventure, for which he gained national acclaim as a crisis manager and spokesperson. During his four year tenure, he was instrumental in establishing Six Flags' records for media value in publicity resulting in their highest attendance totals ever. In addition, he supervised the development of park brochures, co-produced and hosted cable television marketing programs, and formulated PR plans complementing a sophisticated marketing effort for the eclectic mixture of entertainment options offered by the facility.
Mr. Vallach is a graduate of Fordham University, where his concentrations were broadcasting, journalism, and communications.
Mr. Vallach, his wife, Connie, their son, Glenn, and daughter, Tara reside in Eastchester, New York.
